Proud to be the Pope’s charity for world mission
Missio is the Pope's charity for World Mission. We ignite God's love by helping local missionaries to work alongside global communities who are poor in need, regardless of their background or belief. Red Box 2024: Thank You! In 2024, St Hubert's raised £796.60 through our Red Boxes. Thank you! Our missionary community here at St Hubert's is part of a worldwide network of people supporting missionaries through prayer and financial assistance. Your support of Missionary Priests, like Fr Glenn (Mill Hill Missionaries) working with a rural community in Tompong, Cambodia, enables people to come together to celebrate the Eucharist and to work together to improve the lives of the whole community. |

Crisis in Ukraine.
We are all aware of the currant situation in Ukraine. Missio is in touch with its National Directors in the bordering countries to offer our prayerful support, and we have been able to send some money to support their work with refugees. Missio will focus on the re-building of communities when the situation has abated. Please keep the people of Ukraine in your prayers.

CALL TO ALMS.
In 2016 over £300 thousand was raised in our diocese in this way, our contribution to over £3 million raised nationally. However, in 2020 this was drastically reduced to £177 thousand from our Birmingham Diocese and only £1.9 million nationally, showing a reduction in donations of over 36%.
Right now, we have a healthy membership level who are extremely proud to hold a Red Box in their home, dropping in loose change to help missions in all countries around the world.
HOW CAN I HELP? - we hear you say.
We are pleased to invite you to become a member of the Missio family having a Red Box in your home, drop your coins in and return to our church three times a year or we can collect from your home for emptying, it's that easy.
