Proud to be the Pope’s charity for world mission
Missio ignites God’s love by helping local missionaries to work alongside global communities that are poor or in need, regardless of their background or belief. Sometimes this need might be very specific: a motorbike for a Priest to celebrate Mass in remote villages; a simple community hall so people can gather together; vaccinations to protect vulnerable children. Whatever our missionaries need to help them share the joy of the Gospel, Missio strives to provide it. |

CALL TO ALMS.
In 2016 over £300 thousand was raised in our diocese in this way, our contribution to over £3 million raised nationally. However, in 2020 this was drastically reduced to £177 thousand from our Birmingham Diocese and only £1.9 million nationally, showing a reduction in donations of over 36%.
Right now, we have a healthy membership level who are extremely proud to hold a Red Box in their home, dropping in loose change to help missions in all countries around the world.
HOW CAN I HELP? - we hear you say.
We are pleased to invite you to become a member of the Missio family having a Red Box in your home, drop your coins in and return to our church three times a year or we can collect from your home for emptying, it's that easy.
